Len Duvall (Labour, Greenwich and Lewisham)

London Assembly Member

Before becoming a politician Len worked in local government and the voluntary sector. He was an elected Member of Greenwich Council from1990 until 2001. He was Leader of the Council from 1992 until 2000. He was Deputy Chair of the Association of London Government and is a former Member of the London Fire Authority. He was Vice-Chair of the Local Government Information Unit and a founder member of the New Local Government Network. In 1998 he was awarded an OBE for his contribution to London local government. He was former Chairs to both the London Health Commission and the Commonwealth Local Government Forum.

Len is Chair of the Greater London Labour Party. He is a Director of the Royal Artillery Museums Trust and Non Executive Director of Tilfen Land.
