Caroline has been a Liberal Democrat Councillor in Southwark since 1998. From 2002-04 she was Deputy Leader of Southwark Council, and between 2004 and 2008 she was initially Executive Member for Education, widening to Children’s Services and Education, as well as Deputy Leader of the Council Group. In addition to work at the Town Hall, Caroline was a Director of Southwark Energy Agency from 1998 until 2001 and a board member of Aylesbury New Deal for Communities 2002 to 2004. She has been a Board Member of Lambeth and Southwark Housing Association since May 2002 and a Trustee of the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education since 2005. Caroline moved to London after graduating from the University of Wales Aberystwyth in 1994. She worked in local government and the health service for over a decade before becoming a full time politician. MPA Link Member for:
