Jane Harwood

Assistant Chief Executive

Jane worked for the Met from 1985 managing various IT and service restructuring projects, finally leading a unit that delivered productivity improvements across all aspects of police business. In 1996 she joined Surrey Constabulary as director of corporate development, became a member of the ACPO performance management business area and has sat on various ACPO/Home Office working parties. She attended the Bramshill senior command course in 2003.

In 2004 she joined Centrex as director of corporate development, responsible for all corporate functions, moving to the Museums Libraries and Archives Council as deputy chief executive in 2006. Jane joined the MPA as assistant chief executive in April 2008.
