Christopher Boothman

Chris Boothman initially worked in London as a youth and hostel worker while studying various martial arts and law. After qualifying as a solicitor in a specialist criminal law practice he later moved on to work for a number of London councils as a local government lawyer. From 1992 to 2002 he was director of Legal Services at the Commission for Racial Equality and then head of Legal Services at the Standards Board for England from 2002 to 2007. During 2007 he set up a consultancy called Dynamic Leadership Solutions.

His extensive voluntary work over the last 25 years includes being a former council member of the Law Society for England & Wales, company secretary of the London Notting Hill Carnival and a committee member of the Trinidad and Tobago Professionals Network UK.
