Sections available here: Content The Standing Orders / regulations of the MPAIntroductionThe purpose of these Standing Orders is to regulate the conduct of the Authority's business to ensure fair and accountable decision making. They also provide for the delegation of Authority functions and decision making to committees, sub committees, panels and officers. Standing Orders can only be changed by a resolution of the Authority. Where applicable, they shall be read and interpreted together with the provisions of Schedule 12 to the Local Government Act 1972 and any amendment to, or variation or re enactment of, those provisions. The Standing Orders / Regulations are in six parts, as follows:
