Apologies were received from John Roberts.

56. Declarations of interests

(Agenda item 2)

No declarations of interest were received.

57. Exclusion of press and public

(Agenda item 3)

A resolution was put to exclude the press and public from the meeting during the remaining agenda item as it would be likely to disclose exempt information as described in Part 1, Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

RESOLVED – That the press and public be excluded from the meeting during the remaining agenda items.

Summary of exempt items

58. Allegations of misconduct

(Agenda item 4)

Members received an interim report into the conduct of an ACPO officer. It was agreed that the investigation be continued.

59. Allegations of misconduct

(Agenda item 5)

A report was tabled concerning the conduct of an ACPO officer. It was agreed that Internal Audit would ask the officer for further information and explanation. The outcome of the enquiry would be reported to this Sub Committee.
