Sections available here: Content Review of the Metropolitan Police Authority53/00 The Metropolitan Police Authority today agreed to review the way in which it conducts its business following the first six months of its life. Members of the Authority agreed at their meeting in London to look at their working practices in January next year, almost six months to the day when the Home Secretary handed over responsibility for the Metropolitan Police Service. The review will look at the terms of reference of MPA committees and panels and how effectively business is conducted. It will also consider possible implications for the Authority of changes to the local authority structure introduced in the Local Government Act 2000. MPA Chair, Toby Harris said:
