The 'Stops and Searches Monitoring Mechanism training manual' is a short package designed to promote understanding of the MPS stops and searches monitoring mechanism. The presentation and the speaker notes explain the charts and other information included in the monitoring mechanism, terminology used and how the data is calculated. It also suggests some further possible questions to pose to the local borough stop and search lead in order to better understand the data.
